Jill Larson

Jill is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who earned her Bachelor and Master's Degree from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale. For over ten years, she has worked at community agencies in the Peoria area serving clients with a diverse set of needs, including but not limited to domestic violence advocacy, parents and children involved with the child welfare system, and those struggling with life circumstances that have become difficult to manage on their own.

Jill believes in approaching therapy with a strengths-based approach and a holistic view of people and environments. She recognizes the value of teaching skills in therapy to manage symptoms of depression and anxiety, coping with grief and loss, and that working to increase effective communication for healthy relationships can have on a person's overall life functioning. Additional areas of Jill's clinical experience include working with children and adolescents with trauma histories, Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder diagnosis, and parent-child relational problems.

When not working, Jill enjoys spending time with family and friends and exercising.
